Act 3

Yozz is appointed by Nocticula to be your bodyguard if you visit Alushinyrra during act 3 on the Demon Mythic Path. He is clearly not enthused about the assignment, but would not dare to reject an assignment from Nocticula. You can ask him about the Assassin's Guild and his opinions about his assignment and yourself.

You can also ask his opinion on Nocticula, about Alushinyrra, and about the restrictions that Nocticula has placed on your ability to freely explore.

If you ask him to leave, and then call him out for being a dumb lackey of Nocticula, you will earn his hatred. He vows to kill you as soon as Nocticula withdraws her patronage from you. This starts the etude DemonFreedom2.

After returning to Drezen, Yozz will become your mentor for the Demon Mythic Path. He will come to you at Drezen's citadel whenever it is time for a Demon Mythic Path rank up event. During these visits, you will make an edict that provides various benefits for crusade mode. For full details on the consequences of your edicts, see this page.

Act 4

You will run into Yozz when you approach the gates to the Middle City in Alushinyrra. He will give you the quest Shadow Dance at this time. He also serves as the main point of contact for Greybor's act 4 quest, A Matter of Reputation. Following this quest you can choose to cement an alliance with Yozz, or you can even fight the entire Assassins' Guild and Yozz. If you defeat him, you can accept his daggers, Merciful Fate and Cruel Fate, as payment in exchange for sparing his life. Afterward, the guild will be led by Horzalah, who plans to make Yozz her slave.

Act 5

If you are on the Demon Mythic Path, Yozz will approach you at Drezen's citadel and invite you to meet with Shamira at the Harem of Ardent Dreams in Alushinyrra. This begins the quest Conspiracy in Shadows. Upon arriving, you can question Shamira to find that Yozz is being mind controlled by a larval spawn of Baphomet known as 'young mistress'.

If you had previously made an alliance with him, you can attempt a Stealth DC 30 to remove and kill the larvae, thereby earning his support in the upcoming battle. You will permanently kill him during the confrontation between Shamira and Nocticula if you choose to side with Nocticula but don't remove 'young mistress'. If he dies, Laulieh will take over the role of mentor for the remaining Demon Mythic Path rank up events.

If you are not on the demon or swarm path, you will next meet Yozz at the Dry Crossroads, where he appears as Hepzamirah's slave. He will die by your hand.
