I put in some new lines but I think many paragraphs can be deleted and replaced with more structured and mor accurate information.
Crit calculations
The game does NOT calculate a critical hit and multiply it. Each die is rolled separately, so that a x2 result is rolled twice, any potential bonus is then added, again twice, and then it's all added together. Otherwise, you would not be able to get an odd number for a result, something that does happen. As an example, at level 2, Amiri's "Ginormous Sword" deals 2d8+5 damage. Possible uneven results would be 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21. Multiply by 2, and you get 14, 18, 22, 26, 30, 34, 38, 42. No odd results. If, however, the game calculates 2d8+5 twice and then add them together, a result of an odd number is fully possible, example 1+1+5 for the first roll, and 7+8+5 for the second. This also creates a larger possible spread of results.
