Oread is an one of the races available to the player in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

Background

Oreads are humans whose ancestry includes the touch of an elemental being of earth somewhere along the line, often that of a shaitan genie. Stoic and contemplative, oreads are a race not easily moved, yet almost unstoppable when spurred to action. They remain a mystery to most of the world thanks to their reclusive nature, but those who seek them out in their secluded mountain hideaways find oreads to be quiet, dependable, and protective of their friends.

Oreads have a +2 racial bonus to Strength and Wisdom and a -2 penalty to Charisma. They can use the stone fist spell once per day.

Standard Racial Traits

Size: Oread are Medium creatures and thus receive no bonuses or penalties due to their size.

Base Speed: 20 feet,but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.

Feat and Skill Racial Traits

• Slow Movement (Dwarf Blooded): Oreads have a base speed of 20 feet, but their speed is never modified by armor or encumbrance.

• Keen Senses: Dwarves, elves, gnomes, half-elves, half-orcs, halflings, kitsune and oreads receive a +2 racial bonus on Perception checks.

• Energy Resistance: Oreads have acid resistance 5.

• Acid Affinity: Whenever an oread casts a spell with acid descriptor, the saving throw DC against it is increased by 1.

• Geniekin trace their lineage to beings from the various Elemental Planes. Though their progenitors are typically genies, this ancestry can derive from any number of elemental creatures. Furthermore, even geniekin whose ancestry includes only genies can manifest their elemental heritage in uncommon ways.
