Impossible Domain is a mythic ability in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
Effects
You feel a closer connection to the deity you serve.
Benefit: You gain one more domain, ignoring all domain prerequisites. This ability can only be taken by a cleric, inquisitor, or a hunter with the divine hunter archetype.
Hints & Tips
Not all domains are made equal and some domains are restricted to a single deity (e.g. Repose Domain, Artifice Domain). Quality picks for Impossible Domain include:
- Animal Domain or Scalykind Domain - both provide an Animal Companion which is quite powerful.
- Community Domain - Guarded Hearth is arguably the best buff in the game.
- Madness Domain - Touch of Madness is a potent debuff if used to increase enemy Skill Checks (and Penalize their Attacks and Saves).
- Nobility Domain - provides an equivalent to the Heroism spell early in the game and later provides a good AoE buff that stacks will almost all other buffs.
- Luck Domain - allows casters to reroll their DC checks and take the higher result.
- Good Domain - provides powerful weapon buffs versus demons.
- Travel Domain - provides limited teleportation which is great for a combat-oriented melee character.
In addition, Impossible Domains are considered Primary Domains for Ecclesitheurge characters and can thus greatly improve their spellbook. Therefore, Ecclesitheurge might prefer an elemental domain over the ones listed above.
