Deflect Arrows is a feat in Owlcat Pathfinder Games.

Notes
Deflect Arrows, just like the Missile Shield feat, only allows you to deflect one arrow out of the two in the case of a Manyshot attack. Also, a character must not be flat-footed to gain the benefit, so a high Initiative modifier and/or the Uncanny Dodge ability are welcome.
Strategy
Even low-level archers can attack twice in a round with the Rapid Shot feat, which significantly increases their chances of landing a hit against well-protected characters (up to the point that it increases their chances of rolling a nat20 if that is the only way to hit). Therefore, the Deflect Arrows feat certainly has its uses, and it keeps its utility until the endgame. On the other hand, its prerequisite, the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, is useless for anyone but Monks (who get it for free anyway). Effectively, you get the benefits of one feat for the price of two. This makes taking the feat much less attractive for a standard build without multiclassing.
There's a few good workarounds though. First, characters dipping a Monk level for whatever reason may as well take this feat later, or even as a Monk bonus feat right away. Second, you can choose a class that selects a deity, such as Clerics, Inquisitors, or Deliverers (Slayers). Unless you want to choose a specific deity for role-playing reasons, selecting Irori grants your character proficiency with unarmed strikes (which is effectively the Improved Unarmed Strike feat). Ultimately, for pure Monks or any martial build utilizing these shortcuts, this is a highly recommended feat to take early on.
