 Transmutation
This transmutation makes a weapon strike true against evil foes. The weapon in your primary hand is treated as a magic weapon for the purpose of overcoming DR. The weapon also becomes good-aligned, which means it can overcome the DR of certain evil creatures. In addition, all critical threats against evil foes automatically confirm, so every threat is a critical hit.

  • Applies Bless Weapon (Buff) that grants Magic Weapon, Good-aligned, Blessed Weapon traits to any weapon currently worn in Primary Hand.
  • Since a lot of enemies in WotR are Evil-aligned this spell is extremely useful as it practically makes nearly all your weapon crits to be auto-confirmed. So having a Paladin or Cleric with Glory Domain is highly advised.

  • The traits are applied straight to the current weapon in Primary Hand, allowing characters who dual-wield weapons swap them over to have each buffed separately.
  • In Kingmaker most of the enemies are Chaotic and/or Neutral, but there are still enough Evil enemies (mostly undead) which still makes this spell quite valuable.
