Effect(s)	You follow a powerful blow from your weapon with an opportunistic bash from your shield. Benefit: Whenever you score a critical hit with a melee weapon, you can make a shield bash attack against the same target using the same bonus as a free action.

Notes

The description might make it look like you need to crit with your main-hand weapon (a sword, for example) to trigger a Bashing Finish attack. In fact, critting with a shield counts too, so this feat grants an extra shield attack whenever you score a critical hit. Also, you don't use "the same [attack] bonus"; you always make the Bashing Finish attack at your full BAB, as if it were an attack of opportunity. The "against the same target" clause is ignored as well, so even if you kill an enemy with a critical hit, you can still make a Bashing Finish attack against a random enemy within reach.

Strategy

Overall, it's a very decent feat for a shield-bashing character, especially when you use a weapon with a good crit range. Fighters (or any other classes that have many combat feats) might want to take the Improved Critical feat for their shield to trigger even more Bashing Finish attacks.
